On Monday April 8th a partial eclipse will be visible in Victoria, with the Moon covering about 28% of the Sun's disk at 11:29am. The eclipse will be begin at 10:41am.

You're invited to come to the Centre of the Universe during the morning from 10am-1pm. We'll have eclipse glasses to look at the partially covered sun, but we'll also have iive streaming of the total eclipse in the Black Hole Auditorium. We'll have a short presentation from local astronomer and ex-Observatory Director Dr Dennis Crabtree, and cool movies about the Sun in our planetarium.
