Virtual Tour of Canada's Plaskett Telescope

Take a guided tour of the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory, including the Plaskett telescope and Centre of the Universe located in Victoria BC.

While you can’t travel far these days we can take you on a virtual tour of the historic Plaskett Telescope at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory in Victoria and the visitor centre known as the Centre of the Universe. Open the doors of the one hundred and five year old Observatory, climb the steps and take in the size of the telescope and get dizzy looking up as the dome opens and rotates. In the Centre of the Universe peek into the Planetarium, check out the displays, and say hi to a couple of astronauts in the lobby. We’ll be waiting for you. We hope you will join us.
