Total Eclipse of the Moon
Our Total Lunar Eclipse Event will start with the gates opening at 1:30 am
The penumbra, a light barely noticeable shadowing, will start at 12:44am, and the partial eclipse where the earth’s shadow starts to turn the moon red starts at 1:50am
By which time we will be open and have the hot chocolate and other consumably delights ready, plus shows in the planetarium and auditorium. If it’s cloudy we’ll cast in the auditorium from somewhere where it isn’t. If not we’ll have our 16” telescope and other views trained on the moon!
Totality begins at 3:04 am and ends at 4:02 am
This will be a limited event to those willing to get up in the middle of the night to see an amazing spectable! Tickets $15 to cover security and goodies.
